Lancaster District Local Development Framework Core Strategy
Adopted January 2008

Introduction

Lancaster District Council formally adopted the Core Strategy on the 23rd July 2008. It covers the whole of Lancaster District. It outlines the council’s spatial vision for the district and explains broad locations for new homes and jobs, which areas will be regenerated and which areas will be conserved. It also sets out how public and private agencies will realise the vision in the period up to 2021.
